Whether you are a seasoned diver or newly certified there are always new diving destinations to explore. How to you decide on the best place for you?
Freshwater diving is fun and unusually close to home but there is nothing like the big blue deep of the ocean!
1I’ve been diving in South Florida which is great, close to home and no passport needed. There are wonderful natural and manmade reefs with a large biodiverse marine population.
You might also want to travel to the Caribbean or Mexico where your family or friends can experience and ocean diving. Many resort dive shops offer a “resort course” they can take to try out a dive. That way you don’t have to leave them on the beach.
One of the best things about diving is meeting other divers on the boat ride out to the reefs. Everyone has interesting stories and it’s fun to find out where everyone if from and what cool sea life they have seen.
Before the dive the dive master will give everyone a brief of dive site for the day. They will let you know what to look for and the type of life that has been seen recently in the area. He double check that you know the signals and safety standard.
Time to get in the water!
Gather together, find your buddy, thumbs up and descend as one.
I’ve been diving all over the world from Bahamas to Tahiti.
In Hawaii we did a night dive with 17 Manta Rays that have wing spans of 30 feet,
A shark dive in the Bahamas with about 15 to 20 sharks swimming around us.
I’ve seen lobsters at night on the move looking for their dinner and crabs as large as a laundry basket. We have been to ship wrecks, arches and tunnels.
With my experience I can help you choose your first dive or your 100th.
