Tulip Time in Holland

Landscape with tulips, traditional dutch windmills and houses near the canal in Zaanse Schans, Netherlands, Europe

In Holland the tulips show their gorgeous colors from mid-April through the first week of May. Our trip is scheduled for April 29 - May 7, 2021. Its long spring season with cool nights makes Holland is the perfect for tulip growing; spring tulips transform large parts of the country side into colorful patchwork quilts. You will be amazed with the gorgeous color everywhere.

One of the highlights of our trip will be a visit to the Keukenhof Garden.  Here, over 7 million bulbs planted to create an amazing display of spring blooms. This garden attracts visitors from all over the world.

Your accommodations for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure will be on Avalon River Cruise ship: The Impression.  We will spend 7 nights in luxury traveling from village to village on this amazing ship. Unpack once and see it all, the ship is your hotel and transportation!  All meals are included along with commentary beer and wine with lunch and dinner. Included excursions are offered each day along with optional tours to see even more.  They even have bicycles on board that are free to use to visit the countryside or villages on your own!
